Fish, caught and in the water. With Britain in EEC, and only possessing 13% of the European coastal length, the UK is granted 30% of the catchable fish quota. This was in spite of the fact that the UK MEP representative on the Fishing Committee ( a certain Mr N. Farage) only attended 1 meeting. He's gone, will the quota go ? Will the fish go? The only political painting I have ever painted!

I am a painter/illustrator born in Oxford, UK, brought up in the Cotswolds, working in Bavaria and France and now living and painting in Provence, France. I paint in oils and acrylics. Generally brightly coloured in a medium size to small format. Subjects vary from abstract, through whimsical and enigmatic to classic landscape. Styles also vary considerably depending on season, surreal, impressionist, cubist. People, animals, trees and urban scenes feature in many of my works. Each painting is entirely original influenced by my environment and by masters and classics. I undertake commissions as this gives me the opportunity to see from another standpoint.
